1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Thunderball Results ("we", "us", "our", "the site") handles information in connection with your use of this website. We built this site to be usable without creating an account, and we have deliberately designed our tools — the number checker, the lucky number generator, statistics and hot & cold tracking — to run locally in your browser wherever possible, rather than on a server we control.

By using this website you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of it, please discontinue use of the site.

2. Who We Are

Thunderball Results is an independent results, statistics and information website. We are not a lottery operator, we do not sell lottery tickets, and we do not process any payments. References to "Thunderball" on this site relate to the publicly run lottery game of that name; we are not affiliated with, and do not represent, any official lottery operator.

3. Scope of This Policy

This Policy applies to information handled through this website and its pages, including the homepage, previous results archive, checker, statistics tools, FAQ section and the legal pages you are reading now. It does not apply to any third-party website you may reach via a link from this site, including official lottery operator sites, each of which has its own privacy practices.

4. Information We Collect

We collect very little personal information, because most of what this site does does not require it. Specifically:

  • Numbers you check or generate: the ticket numbers you enter into the checker, and any numbers produced by the generator, are processed entirely within your own browser session and are not transmitted to, or stored on, any server we operate.
  • Technical and usage data: like most websites, our hosting and analytics infrastructure may automatically log basic technical information such as approximate location (derived from IP address), browser type, device type, referring page, pages visited, and time spent on the site. This information is aggregated and is not used to identify you individually.
  • Information you choose to provide: if a future version of this site includes a form, survey, or similar feature, we would only collect the specific fields you fill in (for example, a name and email address) for the stated purpose of that feature.

We do not currently operate user accounts, logins, payment processing, or ticket purchasing on this site, and we do not knowingly collect government identifiers, financial account details, or other sensitive categories of personal information.

5. Client-Side Tools & Local Storage

The number checker and lucky number generator are built to run client-side, meaning the calculations happen on your device using JavaScript already loaded in your browser. The main numbers and Thunderball number you type into the checker never leave your device as part of that feature's normal operation. Where any part of the site uses your browser's local memory to keep a page working smoothly during your visit (for example, remembering a filter selection while you browse the results archive), that information is not persisted beyond your session and is not shared with us.

6. Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use a limited number of cookies to support core site functionality and to gather basic, non-identifying analytics about how the site is used, such as which pages are most popular. We do not use cookies for behavioural advertising, and we do not sell information collected via cookies to advertisers or data brokers. 7. How We Use Information

Where we do process limited personal or technical information, we use it only to:

  • operate, maintain, and improve the website and the reliability of its tools;
  • understand aggregate traffic patterns and popular content, so we can prioritise improvements;
  • detect, investigate and prevent misuse, fraud, or security issues affecting the site;
  • respond to any enquiry you choose to send us directly by email; and

Because we use third-party infrastructure providers (such as hosting, content delivery, and web font services), limited technical data may be processed in countries other than your own, including countries that may have different data protection standards. Where this occurs, we expect our providers to apply appropriate contractual and technical safeguards consistent with applicable data protection law.

We retain aggregated or anonymised analytics data only for as long as it is useful for understanding site performance and trends, after which it is deleted or further aggregated so it can no longer identify a specific visit. 14. Children's Privacy

This site is a general information resource and is not directed at children. Participation in lottery games is restricted by law to individuals who meet the applicable minimum age in their jurisdiction, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

15. Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is currently no common industry standard for how sites should respond to this signal, our site does not currently change its behaviour when it detects one.
